Today is my blog’s 24th blogiversary! I started my first (previous) blog on this 220th day of 2002 using static HTML + CSS and one file per (Gregorian) month, with fragment links for specific days, posts within a day, and topics within a post: https://tantek.com/log/2002/08.html#L20020808 No Javascript. No CMS. No SSG. No GitHub. Just BBEdit and SFTP. I’m still using BBEdit with my current blog, and now scp instead of SFTP.
