Return types in tkinter.filedialog #16637

If I cancel or close the dialog without selecting anything, I get:

>>> import tkinter.filedialog
>>> tkinter.filedialog.askdirectory()
()
>>> 

The stub says that the return type is str. We should probably use str | tuple[()] to also allow empty tuples. The actual type may also depend on the Tcl/Tk version.

I haven't tried other tkinter.filedialog functions.
